Application and Features

FB series FCUs are special units with higher External Static Pressures for longer duct systems. The FB range of Fan Coil Units, with their higher external static pressures, allows high degree of flexibility in design of air distribution systems. Thus, FB series offers the best engineering solution for situations demanding extended ductwork, abnormal pressure drops, meeting the challenges from interior designs. These units are suitable for horizontal installation for rooms without suspended ceilings or above suspended ceilings where available.

•         These units are generally installed in spaces to be conditioned and connected to air outlets like grilles and diffusers through an air distribution ductwork. They can fit into any type of interior design layout.

•         All these FCUs come with 3 speed fan motor, which helps to match comfort conditions at part load conditions and as well reduce energy requirements of fan motors and keeps airflow noise minimal at quiet hours.

•         FB series FCUs are most ideal for cooling of individual rooms or small / medium offices, commercial buildings, hospitals, hotel guest rooms, residential spaces etc where the air distribution requirements are within short distances from the Fan Coil Unit. They also offer the most economical way of achieving zone flexibility.

•          The highly compact design allows suspended ceiling at improved height within the occupied space reducing ceiling void.

•         In addition, FB range has features like high airflow and cooling performance, low noise, ease of servicing and maintenance. Standard units are unpainted and they are also available in painted units with standard colours.

Construction

•          The cabinet and frames are made of Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel material or painted as option for maximum resistance to rust.

•         Insulated with a layer of fire retardant thermal insulation.

•         Cooling coil consists of staggered rows and seamless copper tube, expanded on to die formed aluminium fins.

•         Brass water distributor connections ensure a balanced distribution and reduce pressure losses, and further enhance heat exchange efficiency.

•         Low noise permanent split capacitor motor and specially designed centrifugal blower wheel combination gets dynamically balanced and checked before assembling into the FCUs.

•         The fan assembly is completely and specially designed to handle the high static pressures of these units and also to limit the noise levels to minimum.

•         3 speed fan switch to control air flow rate and cooling capacity.

•         The unit assembly is designed for easy air filter removal.

•         Fan motor shaft bearing uses alloy steel with anti-rust treatment and nickel-coated surface for longer life span, requiring no maintenance.

•         Units are complete with electrical terminal boxes and suited for fan speed control.
