Application and Features • These units are generally installed in spaces to be conditioned and connected to air outlets like grilles and diffusers through an air distribution ductwork. They can possibly fit into any type of interior design layout. FA series suits majority of spaces that need to be conditioned with FCUs. • FA series FCUs are most ideal for cooling of individual rooms or small / medium offices, commercial buildings, hospitals, hotel guest rooms, residential spaces, etc., where the air distribution requirements are within short distances from the Fan Coil Unit. They also offer the most economical way of achieving zone flexibility. • FA series are the most popular units due to their compactness, quietness in operation and optimal cost amongst terminal FCUs. • Up to 0.2 inches External Static Pressure. • Meant for horizontal installation for rooms without suspended ceilings or above suspended ceilings where available. • All these FCUs come with 3 speed fan motor which helps to match comfort conditions at part load conditions and as well reduce the energy requirements of fan motors and keeps airflow noise minimal at quiet hours. • The highly compact design allows suspended ceiling at improved height within the occupied space reducing ceiling void. • In addition FA range has features like high airflow and cooling performance, low noise, ease of servicing and maintenance.

Construction • Unit casing is made of Galvanized Steel sheet. Condenser drain pan is die-pressed without any brazing joint. • Insulated with a layer of fire retardant thermal insulation. • Cooling coil consists of staggered rows and seamless copper tube, expanded onto die formed aluminium fins coupled with low noise high air volume fans to ensure optimum heat exchange capability. • Brass water distributor connections ensure a balanced distribution and reduce pressure losses, and further enhance heat exchange efficiency. • Low noise permanent split capacitor motor and specially designed centrifugal blower wheel combination, dynamically balanced and checked before assembling the FCUs. • 3 speed fan switch to control room air volume and cooling capacity. • The unit assembly is designed for easy air filter removal. • Fan motor shaft bearing uses alloy steel with anti-rust treatment, nickel-coated surface for longer life span, requiring no maintenance. |
