Application and Features
FC series FCUs are Cassette type Fan Coil Units, designed for flush mounting in suspended ceilings. The Cassette Type unit features an attractive combined Supply / Return Air grill with peripheral linear slots for supply air discharge and central square grill for return air back to the coil. In addition, the units are equipped with automatically swinging louvers to disperse air evenly with changing throw direction and distance of throw. Such design gives the best possible air distribution as compared to other terminal units. The flow directions are adjustable to fit the room distances from the unit for effective control of air drafts. Since the circulation of air is contained within the occupied space, the air movement does not scrape the ceiling surface and hence, better control of indoor climate, contributing to energy savings. The total installation is suited for quick installation works or fit-out projects and therefore has a high degree of labour and time savings on ducting / insulation, remote grilles / diffusers and associated site works. From application perspective, these units provide the highest storage space for any kind of shops, warehouse buildings, libraries, etc., where it is necessary for the storage racks reach up to full height of the room, since the unit does not occupy any wall or floor space and the conditioned air path is unobstructed. In general, aesthetically best ceiling heights are achievable by use of cassette type units, since the units can be recessed within beam depths of slabs. The Units include a condensate drain pump to ensure that drain pipe connections can be installed above the concealment in ceiling.

Construction • Internal insulation with closed cell expanded polyethylene sheets for effective limiting of thermal losses and noise transmission to minimum levels. • The high efficiency and low pressure drop finned coils are made from copper tubes and high exchange surface area aluminium fins and curved with advanced coil bending techniques. The coils are tested against leaks with dry air at 30 bar pressure. • Electrical power and control panel with terminal board for connection to the mains and the remote control unit.
